Printer works exactly as advertised. Previous had a Brother, but that printer seemed to always want to draw to much electricity and would dim the lights periodically. No problem like that with this printer.
Scan to PDF works very well. I am pleased with this purchase.

This printer is an excellent printer. However Dell cut the price, and when I went to buy it, they raised it. (just before Christmas) Attitude was too bad for me. I bought from a third party, who gave me a price close to the original Dell price. Within about a week, they cut the printer price.
It is the end of January and the 6000 page, $100 toner cartridge is back ordered till??
Moral is, Dell is a great big company that tries to act like a jerky 3 man operation. They are very successful at acting jerky. Leaves you with a bad taste in your mouth, after the deal. Caveat emptor. If I bought again from Dell, I would expect trouble.
