AL2050CS Dig Laser C/P/2 20CPM 20PPM 600DPI Duplex Copy Print

I started getting severely smudged prints from the AL-2050cs after about 1000 copies done in a six month period in a home office. The toner cartridge was replaced to no avail. Sharp then told me that the drum was bad, but since it was a "consumeable" was only warantied for two weeks, and I would need replace it at my expense of over $200.00, again getting a two week waranty on the drum. To me that was putting good money after bad. This copier is piece of junk! The scanning software also is not Vista compatible, and will not produce PDF files.
