This cartridge works as advertised. I've had it last a full 450 pages - the cartridge is easy to replace - the cartridge is quick to replace (unless you're an engineer and feel that you have to study the entire mechanism).The quality produced exceeds ink jet, and based on the material I send and receive it's quicker than ink jet.I just can't find a down side here.

The ribbon is easy and clean to install and I have had no complaints from any of the recipients of my faxes. I have had the Brother "Intellifax MFC-1970" for over eight years and it's still going strong.

But if you have a good cartridge, all you have to do is to change its ribbon. Save BIG $$$$.
