I was looking for a laser printer that could print up to 11x17 paper size. This unit does that very well. The two paper trays that each hold up to 11x17 paper are a rare find in this price range. The unit makes no noise when in sleep mode and wakes up quickly to make printing a no-wait process.
The only downfall I have found so far is that if it is hooked up to a phone line it will answer the phone...regardless if it is a voice or a fax call. This is bad for me as I share one phone line between the fax and voice calls so I have to leave the fax unhooked until I hear the tell-tale fax sound.
Other than that this has proven to be a great piece of office equipment.

The Canon MF7460 is a great choice for the small office. This is used in a church, with a Risograph used for larger production runs. We've owned a Canon copier before (for the last seven years) and have been impressed with the reliability. This was purchased for the automatic duplex and collating capabilities. For collation, the sheet feeder takes and scans all of the pages into memory, and then prints them in collated order - very useful. The 11x17 paper size, and auto two-sided copies are great.
Negatives: rather slow at 20-25 pages per minute. Also, we don't use the fax feature (not connected to phone line), so we can't comment on this.
