PIXMA MP470 Photo All-In-One prints, copies, faxes and scans. Print directly from memory cards, digital cameras and camera phones. Enhance your images before you print, using the 1.8 color, liquid crystal display (LCD). Photo printer delivers a maximum 4800 x 1200 color dpi with microscopic droplets as small as 2 picoliters. Produce a borderless 4 x 6 photo in approximately 46 seconds. Photo printer offers enhanced photo printing from memory cards, cameras and camera phones. Generates 22 monochrome pages per minute with 600 x 600 dpi and 17 pages per minute with 4800 x 1200 dpi. Reduce/enlarge function ranges from 25 to 400. Dual Color Gamut Processing Technology automatically optimizes quality-based on the type of originals you are copying. Color scanning offers an optical scan resolution of 2400 dpi. I have read other reviews for this printer, and some of them have been pretty negative. I have not had a single problem with this printer, and I am a college student! So little noise, and so lightweight. Love the scanner and copier features. Software installed fine on my Windows Vista-run computer. It does not seem to use a whole lot of ink, so that will cut down on the cost. In closing, all I can say is: what are all of you complaining about?

This printer will steal 10 hours of your life. Network set up is a nightmare and after that's solved (thanks to all of the other people posting a multitude of problems), suddenly it can't even scan.
