Summary: Ink lasts for 15 copies!! 2010-09-06
Comment: PULLING HAIR OUT AS I TYPE!! I've not been a fan of this printer since I purchased it about a year ago. Today is IT!! I'M DONE!! Just replaced the ink yesterday and in the middle of an important print job (only 15 pages) the ink runs out and my print job is ruined. For goodness sake, Dell, who in the heck is going to spend $20+ for one ink cartridge for every 15 pages?? Just SHAMEFUL!!

Summary: Terribly unreliable 2010-08-23
Comment: I replaced the ink after the first set of cartridges ran dry. The second set ran dry after only two pages of A4, then there was a 'cartridge error' for some inexplicable reason and I couldn't print a really important document. Talk about a piece of equipment going down when you most needed it to work. I will be very careful of Dell printers in future.

Summary: DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER 2010-03-27
Comment: I brought the dell v305 printer. I wish i never had. You put the paper in and it would go down and you think it was printing wrong When i went to check the paper it was still loose i pulled the paper and the printer was still printing without the paper in it. It never grabbed the paper and pulled it down to print. The paper jam notice come up so often and there isnt a paper jam. Also it stops printing right in the middle of the page. It sucks! Then the price that i paid for it wasnt too bad. Well then i thought it was the printer so we got a replacement for free and this one is starting do the same thing. Then theres the ink which is priced too high I should of read the reviews before i brought this stupid printer. So I repeat donot buy a Dell v305 I am going back to a canon.

Summary: Too Many Problems 2010-03-17
Comment: I purchased this printer along with a similarly priced printer (Canon Pixma MP490) around 3 months ago. The Dell 305V worked very nicely when I first hooked it up. Quickk and easy install. Documents and pictures on plain paper were clear and sufficient enough, although from the start it was obvious that this printer would not be good enough for photos. After I changed the ink for the first time, the printer never printed right again. It will print ok, but leave large boxes of black lines or other oddities in its path. For another $50 or so, I'll just buy another Canon Pixma, it IS good enough for photos, a much better deal. My Dell, now 3 months old, is nearly useless. I'll give it to the kids to play with, and they'll be disappointed.
