Epson Stylus NX625 Color InkJet All-in-One (C11CA70271)

I was upgrading from a single-function color inkjet printer. Having an all-in-one with scanning and printing, including double-sided printing, is a huge improvement. The Epson has both good and bad about it.

Pros:
-Amazingly fast. This goes for scanning, copying, printing, really impressive.
-Quality of output - photos and documents are crisp. No ink bleeding like my last printer, even if air humidity is high.
-Quick drying, I can touch and stack documents fresh out of the printer with zero smudging.
-The display adjusts angle for easy viewing whether the printer is eye-level or waist level.
-Individual print cartridges, don't seem too expensive, and don't seem to drain that quickly.

Cons:

I'm blown away, this printer works great. We got it recently and hooked it up in less than 30 minutes. The printer found our secured wireless network (Mac airport express) and connected really easy, the set up on my second laptop was even faster, no wifi passwords needed.

I like the option of customizing your set up and avoid all the bloatware that comes with the drivers, when installing the CD make sure you opt out of the extra software most people don't need anyways, and just install the drivers.

My wife and i were both surprised at the speed this printer can print at, b/w pages print in less than 5 seconds. so needless to say we are extremely impressed with it!

Cons:
-airPrint not available for the epson (yet) for the iPhones or iPads, they do have an app on the app store called epson iprint. The app is free but will only print pictures, nothing else!! no pdf's, no .doc's, etc... a second app is required if you want to print such...Read more

I researched and read reviews on this product before I bought it via Amazon's black friday deals. $99 for an all-in-one wireless printer, it's a steal! So that's the first plus. Second is that the set up was damn easy. I didn't really had to read the set up manual. I just had to browse through it quickly and remembered the steps. Not a lot to remember BUT most important thing to remember is NOT to plug any USB cable if you are going to use it wireless. I use a PC. So, I can't say anything about a MAC. But I did see reviews on MAC issues. So do your homework, if you are a MAC user. BUt I believe that there's a solution. Third, the printing is amazing. I already tried all features, double sided printing, wireless printing, photo printing, mobile printing, etc... it all works!
