Summary: Epson Workforce Printer ROCKS 2010-07-27
Comment: this printer is the best thing going - had a miserable time with a Dell printer and not much more fun with an HP; this printer is a gem to install and a pleasure to have around - is efficient in cost-per-copy, does all of it's marketed functions very well and does great work for those of us who are good at using stuff that works but maybe not so gifted on the IT side....

Summary: ADEQUATE PRINTER, LOUSY INSTRUCTIONS AND SUPPORT 2010-07-25
Comment: It was a major pain getting the wireless connection to work; the instructions are not particularly clear. Once it was in place, the print quality was pretty good, although the machine is somewhat noisy. It remains to be seen how the machine handles its other capabilities, such as faxing.
UPDATE: I'm lowering my rating to one star since the scanner drivers were not included with the installation disk. The instructions imply that they are automatically installed with the printer drivers, which is completely untrue.
FURTHER UPDATE: I'd like to lower my rating to zero stars since Epson's great website can't even download the appropriate scanner driver. Why does this company have such a good reputation? At the very least, this will be my last Epson product.
FINAL UPDATE: OK, this useless piece of crap is going back to the store tomorrow. In spite of the fact that I used the wireless capabilities to print documents, the scanning function claims that my computer is not connected to the printer. That's it for me!

Comment: I have 1 in my home office, 1 in my downtown office and 1 in my other office! Every one of them work perfectly... I have never had a problem and would recommend the Epson brand to anyone who was looking for a new printer.

Comment: JUNK beyond belief!! Nothing but problems, It would take this whole page to give details about how bad this machine is! Customer service was the worst I've ever received (and that's saying a lot) Save yourself the nightmare don't buy this or any other Epson product, ever. Used to be great but have now turned into yet another trash heap of a company.
