This cartridge is the only choice for our HP fax but it is not satisfactory. I am replacing it every 3 to 4 weeks.
We should have checked out cartridge use BEFORE we bought the fax. Next time we will know that a bargain is
only a bargain if the accessories are a good buy also.

Like others that have complained here - this is one of the worst HP cartridges I have ever had, and the worst part is it is the only size my fax (fairly new) uses. I went to have it re-filled - and of course, they don't refill this size. I had to spend close to $40.00 for this to stop working. I don't fax a lot - so it must dry up or something. I have decided for now I won't have the fax receipts - I refuse to buy another one so soon after the last one I just bought - and I am afraid it will stop working too. It keeps saying "install new cartridge" - it is new, it is installed - and still isn't reading it - it has to do with the foil on the cartridge. The best advice is don't buy anything that needs this size cartridge.

It just irks me over what they're charging for a few ML's of ink. If you averaged it out, it's more expensive than the best Iranian Caviar money can buy!! But, it is......what it is, so you complain and buy it anyway.
