In the description of this item it said it was going to be in Retail Packaging and it was shipped looking like a remaufactured product. When you are expecting nice packaging and receive a plastic bag it is not a good thing.

The package is OEM with a sticker applied that says "Retail Package." I wonder if this is the remanufactured version of the cartridge? I won't be able to tell if it's genuine until my current cartridge runs out and I install this one.

The product they sent me seemed to be in original packaging but was nowhere near an original HP cartridge. If you're not finicky about the quality, its fine. But remember that you're getting what you're paying for here. On the plus side, the merchant was very friendly and prompt to deal with. Excellent customer service.
