I previously owned two Lexmark printers and my small children did something to them
that new cartridges ran out after printing only 30 pages or so.
I decided to invest in a new printer instead of ink cartridges.
I bought this item. I am so happy with my new printer.
Installation was easy and so far, it works great!

There's something to be said for printers that are so cheap nowadays. They are practically disposable and this one is no exception. And I really think that people who review products like this need to use it for more than a week before writing a review.
This was a great printer at first - very fast. Now after several months it's bogged down for whatever reason and often takes for EVER to finish a print queue. Sometimes I can delete and resend several times before it'll do anything. Ink is reasonably priced, but every time you replace a cartridge it gives you an extremely annoying test page that must be scanned to calibrate the printer. I've tried that; it didn't work. so now, instead of printing the document I've tried sending like six times already, it keeps printing that same stupid test page. There's probably better out there, so if you're interested in this one, you might want to keep looking - bearing in mind that they just don't make 'em like they used to.

One of the best printers I've ever had the chance to use. It mixes quality with a very good price. For those of you that aren't great with computers there is no need to worry. The installation is simple and spelled out very clearly in the instructions. While the printer does come with ink I did have to bump this down to four stars from the simple fact that the printer does not come with the required USB cable for connecting it to your computer. The cable is universal however and can be purchased for $10-$30 depending on what kind of quality you want.
Do however be aware of the price if you are not buying from Amazon. The partner sellers who have this in stock as of the date of this review are really jacking up the price. The cheapest price the partner sellers are offering is $100. I bought this printer for $60 at my local Wal-Mart. As another comparison the newer model F4480 sells for $80 at Best Buy.
