The 6110 seems to offer the best of several worlds. It is a flatbed scanner/copier AND has a sheet-fed attachment that allows you to scan or fax up to 35 copies at a time. This product is much better than I anticipated. The included software has worked flawlessly for me (surprise, because I use a Mac running OS X), automatically inserting scanned items in to the program of my choice, and giving the user several helpful options for copying and faxing. It copies and faxes without requiring the computer, in color as well as B/W. It's quiet, a pleasant surprise, after reading about some other HP all-in-ones. It has been sold in Europe for a while, but only recently arrived in the states. Printing resolution is equal or superior to the HP 970 series printer that I previously owned.Cons - The 6110 does not have slots to read memory sticks and other similar photo image storage devices. If that's a need, consider some of HP's other products, like the D series, or the 2110. You'll pay at...Read more

Exactly what I wanted!,

This review is from: HP OfficeJet 6110 All-in-One Multifunction (Office Product)
I wanted a printer, copier, scanner, and fax machine that would print in color as well as BW, be easy to set up and use. I wanted a flat bed copier for copying from books as well as a sheet-fed copier/fax for multipage documents. This one fit the bill. The print quality is great, parts are easily put together, paper easy to load, all functions easy to set up and use. It looks good, takes up little space, is quiet and fast. An extra, nice-to-have feature is the reduction/enlargement copy feature. I could finally reclaim space used by my old scanner, printer, fax--all of which were separate appliances. I've had the 6110 only 3 weeks and just the fax feature has more than earned the price I paid for it. The fact that a USB cable was not included with the 6110 was no problem. With all of the machines I've had, I wound up with extra cables so I didn't need to purchase one. I love this machine and am completely satisfied with the quality and functionality of my Office Jet 6110. Forgot to...Read more

Solid performance,

This review is from: HP OfficeJet 6110 All-in-One Multifunction (Office Product)
I purchased the HP Officejet 6110 AiO really to just try it out. I had been looking at a number of photo printers, scanners, etc. I was torn between seperate units and the space that would be required and the thought of an all-purpose machine. I was immediately pleased with the ease of use and the great quality of output. The scanner does a solid job and I have scanned and printed 5x7 photos that look very good (even without the optional photo ink cartridge that I haven't purchased as of yet). The small "footprint" of the 6110 really is what makes it a benefit to my home office. I have tested this machine extensively and I have had no problems with the document feeder as other reviews have indicated. The print speed is amazingly fast when in "draft" mode, and even in "best" mode the print speeds are very quick. The only complaint that I have to this point is that the hinges on the copier do not expand, which makes photo copying from books...Read more
