Comment: I bought my C4750 Copier, Scanner, Fax machine at Costco and had it for roughly two months when my problems began! I attempted to scan a couple photographs I had onto my facebook page and it will no longer scan so I did what any other consumer would do...I called HP. I have NEVER been more disappointed in a company than I was with HP! They told me that they could, in fact, fix my scanner, but I would have to use my credit card and PAY THEM $49.99 for the repair!!! I only had the piece of junk for 2 months!!! The salesman, with his nearly impossible to comprehend, Indian accent had the nerve to tell me that my computer software is full of viruses, which it obviously hasn't run any different from the moment I've turned it on, and attempted to get me to give him my credit card info AGAIN so he can keep my computer running smoothly for 1 year for $500.00!!! I only paid around $700.00 for my laptop!!! HP is by far the worst company I have ever done business with and WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH HP AGAIN!!! BEWARE CONSUMERS AND DO NOT PURCHASE THIS HEADACHE OF A PRINTER!!!

Summary: This photo printer does a terrible job of printing photos! 2010-08-19
Comment: I bought this printer because previously I have had good experiences with HP products e.g. computers and a laser printer. I bought this inexpensive printer to print home photos. Boy what a waste of money. When I feed in the 4x6 prints, the printer is only able to catch the photo paper about 1 in 10 times. For

Summary: Buy a Different Printer! 2010-07-07
Comment: The printer is very picky about the photo paper you use. I bought a Costco brand photo paper and it wouldn't feed correctly to get the right prints.
After wasting many prints, I later went through a lengthy chat session with HP's Tech Support, the technician immediately decided my photo was not scaled correctly (even though I sized it to be exact in Photoshop) and recommended I use "resize options" -- THERE IS NO RESIZE OPTIONS AVAILABLE IN MY PRINTER'S DRIVER! He made me reinstall everything and left me with instructions that were totally useless.
Not only did they wasted my time with the wrong diagnose, the newly installed driver messed up all my scanned documents afterwards -- the scanned/saved PDF was three-times the size of my original and there was no way for me to resize it. I stayed up for hours to read through online help documents but couldn't find the functionalities they recommended in my HP printer software.
Buy a different printer to save yourself the agony!

Summary: Biggest Piece of Junk 2010-06-24
Comment: I bought this printer @ Costco for a family Christmas gift. The only redeeming quality was that it was priced well. The old saying 'you get what you pay for' could never be more true. Following is a list of problems I have encountered:
1. Most of the time it believes it is out of paper unless you jam the paper up in the tray with a good amount of force
2. Whenever you put in a new cartridge, which is alarmingly frequent, the cartridge needs to be aligned. This process is time consuming and frustrating. You must scan a sheet that you printed out initially. If you lost the sheet you can't print a new one because, of course, the cartridges need to be aligned before you print.
3. Paper jams are frequent, or at least the printer thinks there are, so you are constanly troubleshooting the jams. Both real and imagined.
4. Error messages pop up constantly on the computer and seem to slow the computer's processing speed. I have learned to unplug the printer when not in use to avoid this complication.
5. You better not be in a hurry when you copy or print because you will be waiting with your hand out for the next several minutes.
6. The scans are sent to your user account, but not always the one you are logged into. You may need to ask your teenage son for his password because your scan may very well be saved under his documents. Last time I tried scanning a three page document it kept scanning the top half of the page, I flpped the page over thinking I would then get the bottom half. Nope the top half. I swear I heard a manical laugh emitting from the printer.
7. You are forced to spend 10 minutes writing an online review or two because you are so disgusted with your printer/scanner/copier that doesn't like doing any of the three.
In summary do not buy this printer. Take the $100 dollars and buy lottery tickets. You have as much chance of winning that lottery as successfully completing three print jobs in a row.
