Worked well for awhile then quit communicating with my computer, I'm an IT major, so, I know what I'm doing, but no amount of troubleshooting, uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, switching USB cable, etc worked. Plus ink consumption was terrible and ink cartridges are expensive. Look somewhere else if you're looking for a reliable, cost-effective printer. I wish I could give it minus stars because 1 star is way too many.

So far the printer works great. It is very quick to scan and copy. I don't know about ink consumption yet.

I don't feel as if I print excessively but perhaps I have. A lot of times the cartridges that come with the printer are half-full so maybe that is the case.
I also like the scanning capabilities. You can scan while next to the device, away from your computer, and it'll automatically save the scans to your computer for later viewing. Or you can boot up Lexmark Productivity Studio and scan from your computer. The only inconvenience I've noticed is that when you are scanning directly from the device you have to cycle the options (size, program you want it...Read more
