I bought this piece of garbage at Wal-Mart about a year ago for $69.95. It worked fine initially on a very small copy job, but after about a two-month period of inactivity the ink cartridge had dried up and would produce nothing but blank sheets of paper. I needed to copy something, so I bought another cartridge from Wal-Mart at the ridiculous price of $20. The copier worked fine and I made it a habit to copy one sheet at least once a week whether I needed it or not just to keep the ripoff use-it-or-lose-it cartridge active.

Today, I printed about 10 sheets and the cartridge was suddenly out of ink.

Bottom line: That $20 cartridge PRODUCED LESS THAN 50 USABLE COPIES BEFORE ITS PRINT FADED, THEN IT STOPPED PRINTING ANYTHING AT ALL. THAT'S WELL OVER 40 CENTS PER COPY!!

The scumbags at Lexmark are criminals and should be charged with fraud, convicted and sent to prison for life. Ditto for the executives of all other criminal companies producing such...Read more
