These are the problems that I have had in the two months that I have owned it:
1. Regular paper jams. There is no apparent paper jam but the machine stops and paper jam is the error message. I called tech support and they told me to fan the paper more. Fanning the paper is not the issue it jams no matter how or how many times you fan the paper. 2. Missed faxes. Sometimes the fax does not pick up. This hasn't happened to me in many years, since the fax was perfected 15-20 years ago. But this machine will sometimes not pick up the fax or pick up only part of the fax. C'mon, this is a fax machine! You can buy them for under $100 and they work better, a lot better, than this! 3. Does not send the fax. I have had repeated problems with this machine not sending any or only part of a fax. I love the one we put in our office, it scans [in both color and greyscale at the touch of a button] directly to my computer, receives a fax while I am making a scan or a copy, and saves my incoming faxes in case I forgot to add paper!! The print is crisp and clean in both color and black and white. It scans to both image and standard PDF formats which is perfect for anyone's needs. I think the best part is how easy it is to setup, you just open a web browser, type in the IP address of the unit, and configure everything in a few minutes! I could enter in our entire fax phone book directory in less than 15 minutes [would have taken MUUUUUUCH longer at the control panel] and setup 1 touch dialing with ease, plus turn off the silly ringer and incoming fax tones to zero so the unit only makes noise when there is output, and it is low noise at that.
