My F110 also failed after much less than 250 faxes. The tech support at Xerox thinks its the motherboard since it has power but does not go through a self check and give error codes. The MB costs $250. I might be able to do it myself and save another $200 labor costs, but I only paid $400 for the F110 and so its not worth it.
Too bad, ehh. I loved this machine. Clean copies all the time, almost never jammed. Best fax I've seen. But dead is dead, so none of that gets any stars.
Over all I've heard bad reviews about a lot of Xerox products. Their solid ink printer is said to eat ink every time you turn it on. And lots of other problems with it. I would advise to avoid Xerox products over all.
Great versitile machine!,

This is a great machine - sends, receives just fine, print quality excellent, very fast - even with graphics. Good wide margins...Highly recommend.

We owned the Xerox Fax Centre F110 for a little over 2 years. It worked great over that time -- it did everything we asked of it. But unfortunately, it totally crashed today. Now nothing works after just about 250 sends/receives over the entire time that we've owned it. FYI -- We've checked the phone line and power and they're fine. I called Xerox service and since it's out of their 90 day warranty period they wanted close to $300 just to send a technician out to tell us the machine no longer works. Our local Xerox-affiliated repair company told us that if we carried the machine into them it would probably cost close to $400 to repair (but not necessarily using Xerox parts). It just wasn't worth it. Our Xerox F110 was made in China and like most things made in China they don't last very long. We had thought that we would get at least 10 years of use out of it, but it never happened. Xerox charges close to $300 for a 2-year extended warranty which would lead one to believe that...Read more
